Petrified Forest is located north west of Cafu. This is the part of the Virgin Forest which had been petrified.
This is where an old Cafu Village once stood. When the Tower of Doom was erected nearby number of years ago, the forest and the village within it turned into stones.

Upon entering the Petrified Forest (1), you will soon arrive at the old Cafu village. Rapp tells the tragic story of Cafu and you decide to destroy the Tower of Doom. Travel through the Petrified Forest (1) and (2) to reach the Tower of Doom.

Alligators are roaming In the center of the Petrified Forest (2). They gives you lots of EXP by defeating them.
