What is the Underground Railway Ruins ?
Underground Railway Ruins is an Angelounian ruin found under the J Base.
You will find the Gaia at the innermost part of the ruins.

Underground Railway Ruins Walkthroug
Just keep on going south and you will reach the Gaia (Ovarian Chamber).
There are lots of rubble that block your way.
Tips:
- You can walk inside a train in the Underground Railway Ruins (1).
- The Underground Railway Ruins (1) split into two paths. You can go either way.
- You can walk inside a derailed train in the Underground Railway Ruins (2).
You can enter the Gaia (Ovarian Chamber) by riding an elevator in the Underground Railway Ruins (3). You fight the boss "Baal" as soon as you enter the chamber.
After the boss battle, Gaia is revived. Leen will come to protect your party then leave the ruins on the Lyanlot which will land on the Field Base.

Baal has a Gaia Tentacle attached to his body.
Baal and Gaia Tentacle each have their own HP and act independently, but you win by defeating either parts. Gaia Tentacle has a higher HP but lacks elemental resistance and has lower defense. Therefore you can inflict more damage on Gaia Tentacle than Baal.
Notes:
- Baal's normal attack can inflict negative status effects such as poison, confusion, plague, etc.
- Gaia Tentacle's "Gaia Fang" has fairly large range of attacks. Use of evade to spread across the battle field is a good tactic.
- Both Baal and Gaia Tentacle only does physical attacks. So "Diggin" to raise your defense level is very effective. However Baal can cast "Vanish" which can reset all buffs/debuffs.
- Both Baal and Gaia Tentacle has the ability to heal itself.
