Gaia (2/2) Walkthrough
You will encounter the boss "Gaia Armor" (A) as soon as you enter Gaia (4).
After the boss battle, activate the action icon <!> to open the door.
From here onward, you will go through what appear to be the Gaia's gastrointestinal tracts.
Take narrow passageways that connect guts in the following order: red → orange → yellow → green → blue → purple. Once you reached the south-western part, examine all three protruding objects at the point B. This allows you to pass through the second purple passageway to the south-eastern corner.
The final Save Point:
The Save Point in Gaia (4) is the very last Save Point of the entire game.
Upon entering Gaia (5), stand on top of a circle on the floor and press circle button. A bubble will raise you to the floor above where you fight the boss "Baal" (C) once and for all.
After the boss battle, the next ride on the bubble will get you to the Gaia Core above.
You will fight the final boss "Gaia Core" (D) in the Gaia Core.
The final Stashing Place:
There is a Stashing Place just front of where the final boss is.
After the final battle, a path to the Spirit Stone Chamber opens up. Justin will cut the Spirit Stone in half and the Gaia will finally stop its activity. The world is saved from the blink of destruction.
Boss Battle
Gaia Armor
Moves/Spells | Effect |
Gaia Armor (Body) |
Killer Tackle | Damage (straight line) |
Dead Circle | Damage (range) |
Gaia Armor (Eye) |
Gravity | MOVE down (1) |
Healer | Recover 500 HP (1) |
Vanish | Removes buffs/debuffs (all) |
Gaia Armor is made up of two parts: the "Body" and the "Eye". The HP of 6785 is shared between the two parts.
Both parts have high resistance to all elements, so magic and weapons with elemental attributes are not effective.
"Eye" may cast Gravity which lowers the target's MOVE level (-5). Use non-elemental moves that does not require moving against Gaia Armor.

Baal is made up of four parts: body, Gaia Cyst and two Gaia Tentacles. Each parts have its own HP.
Baal can be defeated by reducing HP of Baal's body to zero.
Of the four parts, Gaia Cyst is resistant to all magic.
Non-elemental moves such as Shockwave / Heaven & Earth Cut (Justin), Sidethrow / Neo Demon Ball (Rapp) and Random Hurl (Feena) are effective. Once the Gaia Cyst is gone, you can use magic if you want.

You can access a Stashing Place before the final boss battle. Make sure you fully recover before the battle.
The final boss battle is divided into two steps:
- Gaia Core and Mega Gaia x2 plus unlimited number of Gaia Tentacles which is summoned by Mega Gaia.
- Evil Gaia only.
For the first part, defeat Mega Gaia asap. Otherwise Mega Gaia summons Gaia Tentacles infinitely.
Once there is only Gaia Core present, using a critical attack can be suffice to defeat the Gaia Core.
For the second part, you fight the Evil Gaia who can only cast low level spells. It has very high HP but that about it. Nothing special about it that make this battle difficult.
