Tower of Temptation (8F - Top Floor) Walkthrough

Tips

  • Satan is resistant to fire and earth elements, while Naga Queen is resistant to wind and water elements.
  • Trap doors on the 9th Floor open when you get close to them. You can avoid falling by waiting for the trap doors to close then walk over them.
  • There are sic trap doors on the 9th Floor. You have to fall intentionally through the trap door G in order to reach the top floor (you cannot go back).
  • There are a boss on each floor between 10th to 12th Floor. You have to defeat them all.

Shortest Route

  1. Use stairs A to 9th Floor (8F·A → 9F·A).
  2. Fall through the trap door G to 8th Floor (9F·G → 8F·g).
  3. Fight the boss "Gargoyle" on 10th Floor.
  4. Fight the boss "Slug Fish" on 11th Floor.
  5. Fight the boss "Leviathan" on 11th Floor.
  6. Step inside the magic launch pad on the Top Floor to warp back to the Teleportation Room in the East Savanna.

Most efficient route to get all treasures on 8th and 9th Floor:
Get all five treasures on 9th floor first, making sure you avoid all trap doors. Then drop through the trap door B to fall to 8th Floor (9F·B → 8F·b). Once you have collected all four treasures on 8th Floor, fall through M to 7th Floor (8F·M → 7F·m), then make your way back to 9th Floor again.

Sonic Belt:
There are ten treasures on the Top Floor. All of them except "Sonic Belt (14)" are found in the center.
To get Sonic Belt, do not use stairs upon entering the Top Floor via L. Instead follow a narrow corridor clock-wise until you find Sonic Belt at the dead-end.

ボス攻略

Gargoyle

Moves/SpellsEffect
Gargoyle (Head)
Suck InDraws closer (all)
Beat AttackDamage (close range)
Gargoyle (Shell)
Rush AttackDamage (straight line)
VanishRemoves buffs/debuffs (all)

This is the first of the three boss battles. "Gargoyle" is stronger version of "Ganymede" that you fought back in the Dom Ruins.
It consists of "Head" and "Shell" but shares HP of 1500 but attack independently of each other.

Gargoyle only does physical attack, so "Diggin" several times to boost your defense level is a good strategy. However it can cast "Vanish" which resets all buffs/debuffs.

You have two more boss battles remaining, so do not use SP and/or MP too much. You should not have too much trouble defeating it by just combination/critical attacks and heal when necessary.
The Head has lower defense than the Shell, so attacking the Head can deal more damage.

Slug Fish

Moves/SpellsEffect
Slug Fish
Electric ShockLightning damage (all)
Body BlowDamage (range)
SpewWind damage (all)
VanishRemoves buffs/debuffs (all)
Lure
EnticeDamage + confusion (1)

This is the second of the three boss battles. "Slug Fish" is stronger version of "Grinwhale" that you fought back in the Pirate Island.
The boss consists of the body "Slug Fish" and its dangling girl-shaped "Lure".

The Lure casts a move called "Entice" which only affects Justin or Rapp. If confused, cast "Halvah" to remedy quickly.

You can win the battle by defeating the body, so concentrate your attack on the body.

Leviathan

Moves/SpellsEffect
Leviathan
Laser EyeDamage (straight line)
Zap! AllLightning Damage (all)
VanishRemoves buffs/debuffs (all)
Twin TyphoonWind damage (range)
(Auto Heal)Recover 236 HP every turn (self)
Right Tentacle
Zap!Lightning damage (range)
AlhealerRecover 100 HP (all)
Left Tentacle
Suck-InDraws closer (all)

This is the third of the three boss battle. "Leviathan" is stronger version of "Squid Kind" that you fought back in the Ghost Ship.
The boss is consists of three parts: "Leviathan" itself and two legs "Right Tentacle" and "Left Tentacle".

You can win the battle by defeating the body. But leaving Tentacles is not good tactics. Once both tentacles are gone, Leviathan can no longer cast "Twin Typhoon".

This is the final battle of the Tower of Temptation. There is no need to reserve SP/MP any more. Use your strongest skills and/or magic.
