What is the Mysterious Vanishing Hill ?
Mysterious Vanishing Hill is a mountainous region south-east of the Village of Dight.
You will find a teleporter which allows you to travel anywhere you want.

Mysterious Vanishing Hill Walkthrough
Step-by-step Guide until getting the Teleportation Orb
- Make bridges by stepping on two switches near the Save Point. Go east.
- Get the "Silver Key (2)".
- Use the key to open the gate (A).
- Fight the first boss "Massacre Machine" (B).
- Go south from where you fought the boss.
- Step on the switch (C) and get the "Gold Key (3)".
- Use the key to open the game (E).
- Fight the second boss "Massacre Machine" (G).
- Step on the switches (H) to make a stairway.
- Get the "Teleportation Orb (6)"
- Return to the Dight Village.
Traps:
There are numerous traps in the hill.

- Pillars topple and enemies appears after getting the Silver Key.
- Ground at the Point C crumbles beneath you.
- Enemies comes out from inside the closed gates.
- Bridge (F) becomes narrower as you step on it (you need to run through the middle of the bridge to reach the other end safely).
How to get the Gold Key:
The Gold Key is on top of the pillar. There are two switches (D) in front of the pillars. The eastern switch is a trap and enemies comes out from surrounding pillars, while the western switch makes a stairway to another switch. This switch activate the pillar to disappear and let you reach the Gold Key.
How to get the Teleportation Orb:
There are four switches (H) near where you fought the second boss.
Step on three switches in line to make a stairway then step on the fourth switch to finalise it. If the stairway is not formed, just step on the fourth switch which reset everything.
The Teleportation Orb can be found beyond the newly formed stairway.
Good-bye Sue
Go to the Shrine with Sue.
The teleporter comes alive by placing the Teleportation Orb on the switch (I). Return to the Dight Village after farewelling Sue who goes back to Parm.

The first Massacre Machine is found beyond the gate A.
It made up of two parts: the "Body" and the "Eye". The HP of 1800 is shared between the two parts.
The Eye can cast "Burnflame", so equipping an accessory "Fire Charm" is recommended.

The second Massacre Machine is found in the very center of the Mysterious Vanishing Hill
It is very similar to the first boss but with slightly higher HP of 2000 and uses different moves / spells.
The Eye can cast "Howlslash", so equipping an accessory "Wind Charm" is recommended.
