What is the Abandoned Laine Village ?

Abandoned Laine Village was a once a beautiful place where people of Laine used to reside
This place became uninhabitable because of heightened activity of Gaia.

You come to the Abandoned Laine Village in search for Dorlin's Horn that was left behind during the relocation.

Abandoned Laine Village Walkthrough

Step-by-step guide

  1. Warp Space (1) - Go south-west from the entrance and enter a house and you will exit a house on the north-east corner. Go north-west to enter a house. Go through a large door that you see in front of you.
  2. Warp Space (2) - Use the warp point near where you find 260G. Go east and you will find nine large doors, of which one will grant you an access to the next area.
  3. Warp Space (3) - Go north-west and you will find a path to the Core next to a Save Point.
  4. Warp Space Core - Fight the boss "Gaia Battler".
  5. Get the "Horn of Wisdom" from the chest box after the boss battle and return to Laine Village.

The second encounter with the boss "Gaia Battler".
Gaia Battler is stronger than the previous encounter at the Tower of Doom. Differences are:

  • The Right Hand has high magic defense whereas the Left Hand has high physical defense (in the first encounter, the Right Hand had high physical defense and vice versa).
  • The Right Hand can recover by "Grand Heal".

Basically you can fight Gaia Battler like last time. Just concentrate on the Body and ignore the hands.
